Though neither of us live in California at present…I want to give my condolences on the passing of Prop 8. It really is a travesty that on a day when we elected the first black man president….we told an entire cross section of our population that you are not equal…that you do not deserve the same rights as the rest of us. One of my oldest and dearest friends lives in LA. I actually lived a few blocks from him in Hollywood the 2 years I spent out there. He and his partner have been together for 10 years. They’ve been talking about getting married the past couple of years. I’ve been trying to reach him since Tuesday night. I feel for him and Jim today. And I feel for the entire GLBT community. So outgoing presidents screw with incoming presidents - what should Bush do?
