There’s only so much money in the world. Yet the IRS/CRA/whoever take a percentage of every TRANSACTION made, no matter if that money was taxed before or not. That’s BS. And don’t get me started on property taxes.

Let’s say the people found a compromise and got over their:
- religious issues (like abortion, stem cells, homosexuality, euthanasia, death penalty, evolution, separation of church and state, school prayer, intelligent design, creationism, public displays, Christmas, etc.)
- tolerance issues (like racism, sexism, class, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, human rights, torture, genocide, etc.)
- gun issues
- tax issues (like socialism, communism, spending policies, social programs, entitlements, medicare, public works, regulations, healthcare, social security, wealth redistribution, deficit, debt, bailouts, fiscal conservatism, etc.)
Those three kind of issues seem to rule the debates in America right now, and have for a long time, pushing other important debates to the sidelines. Continue reading…
