So delicious
quotes
"I didn’t know [Colin Powell] was still a Republican."
"I would say Rush Limbaugh is a true Republican."

b) I’m seriously wondering if this guy has a personal goal of seeing his party burn, because everything he does seems to be counter the moderatism that the GOP needs at this point.
Big shock there. Cheney being a douche? Whoda thunk it?

… we might have been spared from ever hearing another shit song from Cher:
While on the red carpet at the Declare Yourself inaugural ball last month, Cher, who was once married to Sonny Bono (who later became a Republican Congressman), said that she didn’t understand why anyone would be a Republican because eight years under Bush "almost killed me".

(you can skip to about the 2:10 mark to hear the most important part)
$550 billion was taken out of the system in an "electronic run on the banks," and it would have been over $5.5 trillion if they hadn’t closen the accounts and insured each person with $250 thousand.
If would have led to a collapse of the U.S. economy by 2:00pm that very day and a collapse of the world economy within 24 hours, if they hadn’t done that. It would have been "the end of our economic system and our political system as we know it." Continue reading…

I understand wanting to keep as much money as we can in our own pockets. I understand that sometimes our money is mismanaged by “they”. But if you really think about, it is not "they", it is collectively "we". We elect the people who manage our money. If you think they are taking too much or they are mismanaging it, it is simple. Vote to have them removed.
