The kids were getting cabin fever yesterday, so I decided to take them out to Barnes & Noble. They had gift cards to spend, and since my kids can actually READ, I thought "hey, let’s get outta the house and go shopping". So off we go.
The Obama worship is surreal. Posters, biographies, and even children’s books. I decided to pick up a kids book on Obama and page through it. The artistry (no photos, just art) is reminiscent of Hitler’s propoganda mixed with a Catholic coffee table Bible. Similar lighting and tones, the "bigger than life" poses of adult Barak and the "innocent and playful" child Obama. It started with "One starlit night…" which had me just about gagging. For pages, it was filled with gushy gooey lies about the liberal messiah, culminating with a whopper on the page explaining his election to the presidency. It stated that THREE FOURTS OF AMERICANS voted for Obama and that he won by MILLIONS OF VOTES

Monsanto’s front man in the governorship of Iowa is Obama’s choice for Sec. of Agricutlure. The status quo stays the status quo.
So, do we know if Obama has any statements about ethanol previous to this event or better, the election cycle?

Can congress get it done by the time Obama is sworn in the 111th congress is sworn in on Jan. 6 this gives them exactly 14 days to craft a $500B (at least imo) stimulus Can it be done? that is extremely short notice why? the $700B stimulus keeps on giving and giving with seemingly no limit. Why does it cost 500B to pay a stimulus to a population of 304 million? Give 1 million to every person in the US and it’ll only be 400-600 million including administration no?
you know my moms been sayin the same shit what is the problem with this? anyone? Continue reading…

I don’t know what my point is here, but I heard something on the BBC that shocked me.
They told of a family in Zimbabwe that survives off a dollar a week, never has food and are in very poor health. They literally eat anything they can find, whether it be finding food crumbs on the street, anything with even a faint amount of calories in a wooded area, or just anything they can find. Much like sea gulls. But they went on to say that this family had a floor mat in their home made from a cow skin. They had nothing else to eat, so they had to cut this floor mat up and cook it and eat it. They became sick. But if they did not do this, they would have died. Continue reading…

What if instead of always studying for a drivers license at 16, you had a choice of a drinking license (a license to drink at 16) OR drivers license (a license to drive at 16)?
You’re smart… How old are you?
There isn’t a drinking license. Don’t you people think? Continue reading…

Violence from the crack epidemic ended as suddenly as it had begun. Reasons for the drop in crime are not well-known. According to some reports, such as another chapter in Levitt’s book , increase in police had nothing to do with the end of the epidemic as cities with no police change saw the effect of the epidemic appear suddenly. According to Alan Fox, dean of the college of criminal justice at , "Probably the most important factor [in the drop in crime] was the change in drug markets — that is, dealers no longer needed to fight over turf for selling the new product, because the boundary lines were now established."
