So I’m confused… was McCain for real interviewing with CBS while he was supposed to be on Letterman, after he told Letterman he couldn’t be there because had to work on the economy?

In fact he’s not returning to Washington until tomorrow, after making a stop to give a speech at the Cilnton Global Initiative. He’ll be there thursday and smart money says he’ll be in Mississippi on friday. So for suspending his campaign he is still doing quite a bit of campaigning…. weird right?
The powdering scene was hilarious. Letterman ripped into him the whole show basically, the top 10 list was priceless.

letterman basically said it, although maybe not clearly enough… rove is getting involved in mccain’s campaign. you don’t make moves like this without the evil architect having a hand in it.
