I think it’s less a case of pure fabrication so much as no actual interest in reporting the truth accurately.
For example, they probably did no fact-checking on this guy’s story, and have quoted him anonymously so nobody else could do real reporting and falsify their story. They take anything said by a conservative or government agent at face value and repeat it without researching it (similar to how all the other tv news programs work, really).
I think it’s hilarious that every other network that exists DRASTICALLY and overtly favors democrats. And when they attack Republicans, it’s ok. But when Fox News does it, it’s somehow unethical.
I wonder why that is?
