College Park Libertarians Win the Debate
On October 28, the University of Maryland, College Park Libertarians debated both the College Democrats and College Republicans. Although the moderator asked more questions of both the Republicans and Democrats, we able to force our viewpoint in and discredit the positions of both parties. In a show-hand-vote, the Libertarians were declared the winner of the debate afterwards, despite a large contingent of Democrats and Republicans present.

We were able to win by outlining the similarity between the Democrat and Republican positions. We kept things simple, whereas the other groups got bogged down in details, and suffered because of it. Soundbites from Badnarik were especially effective.

I had many people compliment us on our responses, and we were by far the most popular people in the room following the debate. Several Democrats and Republicans came up to us and complimented us on how well we debated and how a lot of our positions make sense.

Support Libertarian Presidential Candidate
Michael Badnarik was nominated to be the Presidential candidate of freedom-minded Americans at the Libertarian National Convention in Atlanta, GA in early June. Badnarik is a Constitutional scholar and author from Austin, Texas.

Mr. Badnarik is a man of principle and integrity. He has an integral understanding of the U.S. Constitution, its intent, and its meaning. He would make an EXCELLENT President. He will be on the ballot in at least 49 states, with one pending (Oklahoma, which has atrocious ballot access standards for third party candidates). He is polling at 2% in key swing states like Wisconsin and Iowa and is presently polling 5% in New Mexico.
