-They both were selected there because their positions on Iraq
-They are both weak on their economic backgrounds
-Neither selected a VP choice with a strong economic background
-This is the most important issue of the day
-This is the most important thing Congress has done since they responded to 9/11

Perhaps the leaders of the two political parties should take a break from campagining and actually help to come up with possible solutions to this problem.

I am actually surprised Obama didn’t do this first because it would have been an easy chance for Obama to actually DO SOMETHING in the Senate rather than trusting idiots like Chris Dodd and Harry Reid to take care of it for him.
