Lots and Lots. I think the occupation needs to be lifted off of Gaza. This will bring about serious change. If the World can go to Gaza and invest and people start having semi-normal lives, it will change the game.

We know the serious issues are in the West Bank, maybe if we started working on something serious…we could do it.
I would love to see that region shore up its issue and get some real growth into gaza and the west bank.
I think the region would be better than the EU should there be less conflict

There are lots of fertile land where dates, Apples, Oranges, strawberries and flowers used to be exported to Europe. Lets not forget the all mighty olive trees.

I don’t think that a lot of people understand what you mean by blow back, I do and agree with your statement. They have a lot of answer for, and a lot of pissed off Arabs and Muslims to contend with over this action. It may not come for a month, a year, maybe even 2-3, but I see something big happening to them over this at some point in retaliation.

Why the fuck should the world want to invest in Gaza. The region has displayed nothing but instability for thousands of years. Pretty safe investment, and what deserving people…..they can’t even peacefully coexist. Fuck them, there are more deserving and safer areas to invest in.

There’s no point going there, until the occupation is over and Israel removes it’s illegal settlements and goes back to the 1967 borders, allowing the indigenous people of the region now living in squallor in refugee camps and concentration camps like Gaza, to return to their homes, or build new ones if the Israelis destroyed the old ones, or won’t move out of them.

60+ years ago…technology as we know it didnt exist. Palestinians were simple farmers…lets not forget there was the Ottoman and British occupations too. they were in control.
People were doing well back then too. Look at the big cities. Even today you look at the small Israeli cities they are very rural.

The mistake was made by the UN, giving someone else’s homeland to immigrant jews from Europe, without negotiating with the people who were living there.
But in reality the Jews or Israelis should retreat to the land they were given by the UN in 1948.
Everything else should stay with the indigenous inhabitants of the region.
They will have to make room for the displaced people from jewish areas that can’t return their.
Or the best solution would be to allow the right of return, the people should ALL go back to where their families were living in 1948, and those from the regions now being fought over had better learn to live together.

Agreed, Israel needs to finish what it started, go in full force and occupy the city, flush out anyone who is hiding, stay there for a month at least. The great thing about warfare is its over as soon as one side loses. If palestinians didn’t resist there wouldn’t be any casualties. When a much, much stronger force is invading your land you have 2 choices, resist knowing full well you will suffer massive casualties and still lose, or surrender. Palestine keeps making the wrong choice.
All i know is that today’s borders and sovereign states were created and defined by war, all except this one area of the world, because the world decided it knew better and started fucking around with it for a century.
