Tony Stark seems to have taken it upon himself to make sure it ALL gets had.
The way I see it, you’ve got to have someone like Tony Stark or The Humungus to balance all of the tabloid garbage coming from the right. The unfortunate thing is that tabloid garbage is effective, and the GOP has had a monopoly on it recently.
Also, The Humungus — for all of his cynical thread-spamming — was a genuinely intelligent guy. I think that the mods are huge faggots for perma-banning him, and I seriously question Fazle’s judgment for stacking the mod positions so heavily with people with similar political views (i.e. conservative).

A lot of people bitched about his threads in DIACF. 90% of them were hypocritical conservatives. When the majority of the moderators are conservatives as well…

Well, my issue was he would post articles without even committing on them himself, which could be considered spamming. A perma does seem fairly harsh, but he will probably come back if there is a large enough push.
Yeah, he could have played by the rules and commented on the articles in his first post more often… but frankly, what often passes for initial post "commentary" in DIACF is hardly better than regurgitated talking points. I always thought that The Humungus’ style was a cynical reaction to the bombardment of conservative tabloid crap (i.e. swiftboating) that has become so popular in recent decades.
