State party to consider bid to oust Lieberman HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Connecticut Democrats are considering trying to force Joe Lieberman out of the party. The veteran senator calls himself an "independent Democrat." He was re-elected as an independent two years ago after losing the Democratic primary. Six years earlier, he nearly became vice president as Al Gore’s running mate. Well That Biden Choice Sure Worked Out Well For Obamma…

Ok, well not exactly: "An by Gallup Poll Managing Editor Jeff Jones shows that recent presidential campaigns have enjoyed a small (though short-lived) bounce from the running mate announcement. This includes a four percentage point bounce for John Kerry in 2004 after selecting John Edwards, a 5-point bounce for Al Gore in 2000 with his announcement of Joe Lieberman, and a 3-point bounce for George W. Bush in 2000 upon choosing Dick Cheney. Bob Dole received an extraordinary 9-point bounce in 1996 after bringing Jack Kemp onto his ticket." why would barack obama be friends with someone who bombed the capitol?

Whats the best place to live? What kinds and levels of supplies should we be hoarding? Should I have a different vehicle that doesn’t run on gas? Zombie survival crew could put some good input in here. George Bush

What Is a ‘Windfall’ Profit? August 4, 2008 The “windfall profits” tax is back, with Barack Obama stumping again to apply it to a handful of big oil companies. Which raises a few questions: What is a “windfall” profit anyway? How does it differ from your everyday, run of the mill profit? Is it some absolute number, a matter of return on equity or sales — or does it merely depend on who earns it? I’d like to understand the logic of the typical Global Warming denier

This is how I look at it; 1. The Earth is a closed system Now you could go on and on about how much human activity is influencing the world climate, but I just don’t understand how someone can look at this picture and think that it will have no effect on anything. You may think that the only thing that matters in the world is the economy, but the economy is just a subsystem of the larger system it inhabits… the ecosystem. If Al Gore really gave a damn about the evironment, he’d be in China right now.

But obviously there isn’t any money in it. What a tool. Let’s bitch and moan in a country full of clear skies and ignore the world being disgusted about the Olympics being held in a stadium where you can’t even see the track from the top of the stands. ibManbearpig
