I can’t understand McCain’s choice.

Posted by bruni on September 11, 2008

She’s not from a swing state, she’s not an economic powerhouse, she’s not nationally known, and she opens the door for a lot of republicanesque diversions from the issues.

I honestly think that he would have won with Romney. Now, I’m not so sure…
I don’t get it either, but romney would have lost more votes then he brought so he woudln’t have been a good choice.
she’s pot smoking, gun toting, disabled child raising hot vagina
I suppose that she will appeal to women, but I don’t think that most women will vote for someone solely because they’re a woman.

McCain should pick Kay Bailey Hutchison for his VP

Posted by bruni on September 06, 2008

if he did, i’d be willing to bet he wins the election.

she’s smart as shit, and she’d get the female vote.

and then she’d probably be the first woman president after mccain.

we’ll see

I’d fuck Texas.

Who are you going to vote for at this point in time v.didn’tseeitdoneyet

Choose who you are voting for and why you’re voting for them in one sentence

Obama. After having a president who’s touted as the worst president in history, and having a party incumbent who thus far has not rejected any of Bush’s main policies, I could use a little hope and change.
I’m too lazy to vote, it won’t make one bit of difference(I live in NJ so the state will go Democrat no matter what). If I do become bothered to go throw my vote away, I’ll throw it to Barr. But right now 9/10 I won’t bother doing it.

Fantastic. McCain is holding a comedy show while Americans are suffering.

Posted by bruni on August 05, 2008

“I don’t think [my ads are] negative,” McCain said at a news conference here. “I think we’re drawing the difference between us.”

The Obama campaign fired back quickly. “It’s downright sad that on a day when we learned that 51,000 Americans lost their jobs, a candidate for the presidency is spending all of his time and the powerful platform he has on these sorts of juvenile antics,” spokesman Hari Sevugan said. The new McCain spot, titled “The One,” opens like a Hollywood movie trailer, with a deep-voiced announcer declaring: “In 2008, the world will be blessed. They will call him: The One.” It then cuts to some of Obama’s loftier moments — his declaration that “we are the ones we have been waiting for,” and part of his speech upon clinching the Democratic nomination: “This was the moment when the rise of our oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal.”

Obama now favors drilling on the coastline

Posted by bruni on August 05, 2008

Sen. said Saturday he is simply acting pragmatically in softening his opposition to additional oil drilling along the nation’s coastline, a shift Republicans say shows he is calculating and out of touch with voters.

Speaking in Florida, Obama insisted he still generally opposes additional drilling as his Republican rival, Sen. John McCain, once did as well but would be willing to support it as part of a new bipartisan energy proposal that seeks to lessen dependence on foreign oil.

“If we can come up with a genuine bipartisan compromise, in which I have to accept some things that I don’t like, or the Democrats have to accept some things that they don’t like in exchange for actually moving us in the direction of actual energy independence, then that’s something I’m open to,” the Illinois Democrat said.

Oil drilling, a hot topic in Florida, has been a point of dispute between Obama and McCain in recent weeks.

“Sen. Obama says he wants energy independence, but he doesn’t support anything that serves that goal,” McCain said Saturday in his weekly radio address. “He believes every domestic energy source has a problem. I believe every energy source needs to be part of the solution.” Continue reading…

Obama backs away from McCain’s debate challenge

Posted by bruni on August 05, 2008

“Democratic candidate Barack Obama on Saturday backed away from rival John McCain’s challenge for a series of joint appearances, agreeing only to the standard three debates in the fall. ”

You have to limit your debates when you don’t have much substance.

I am surprised Obama will even be part of 3 debates. If Obama simply continues to pose for the camera, he will clinch the election for himself without ever having to debate.

right..thats why he debated hillary about 20 times over a 6 month period…

women don’t really let you choose when you “debate”

McCain has so much substance im sure Obama is terrified
Obama does excellent in pre-scripted speeches. The handful of times he’s tried to speak when his responses aren’t already written down - he’s terrible.

I find it disgusting that Obama fans are ok with this. How can you be ok with your cantidate refusing to discuss issues? Wtf?

Did you actually watch any of those debates? Continue reading…
