The RPSSG has determined to form on the RonPaulForums.com as a method of designing and building a space vehicle capable of carrying a satelite into space. This satelite, called the Ron Paul Satelite, will be a solar powered transmitter, capable of broadcasting Ron Paul Revolution: A Manefesto, in audio format, to the entire Universe! We realise this may take several billion light-years for the signal to reach the end of the Universe, but we are prepared to continue our peaceful revolution, as long as it takes. Continue reading…

EXCLUSIVE: To Provoke War, Cheney Considered Proposal To Dress Up Navy Seals As Iranians And Shoot At Them»
Speaking at the Campus Progress journalism conference earlier this month, Seymour Hersh — a Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist for The New Yorker — revealed that Bush administration officials held a meeting recently in the Vice President’s office to discuss ways to provoke a war with Iran.
In Hersh’s most recent article, he reports that this meeting occurred in the wake of the overblown incident in the Strait of Hormuz, when a U.S. carrier almost shot at a few small Iranian speedboats. The “meeting took place in the Vice-President’s office. ‘The subject was how to create a casus belli between Tehran and Washington,’” according to one of Hersh’s sources. Continue reading…

By:
August 1, 2008 10:53 AM EST
Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) on Friday announced an “Emergency Economic Plan” that would give families a stimulus check of $1,000 each, funded in part by what his presidential campaign calls “windfall profits from Big Oil.” Continue reading…

Anyone else remember the sole reason Obama was so popular years ago? I remember why I liked him, because he appeared to be one of the few politicians who spoke about not playing partisan games. He talked about public financing and realistic solutions. He talked about honest politics.
Fast forward, now he dropped out of public financing, has an pandering agenda full of what people want to hear, and uses his financial advantage at every turn to get one up on his opponent.
The answer to these actions is always just, well, this is how you win elections. I always hear his actions excused because other politicians are just as dirty, or dirtier. Continue reading…

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows the race for the White House is tied with Barack Obama and John McCain each attracting 44% of the vote. However, when “leaners” are included, it’s McCain 47% and Obama 46%.
McCain is currently viewed favorably by 55% of the nation’s voters, Obama by 51%. That is the lowest rating for Obama since he wrapped up the nomination. Obama is viewed favorably by 83% of Democrats, 22% of Republicans, and 47% of unaffiliated voters. For McCain, the numbers are 87% favorable among Republicans, 26% among Democrats, and 61% among unaffiliated voters.

Choose who you are voting for and why you’re voting for them in one sentence
Obama. After having a president who’s touted as the worst president in history, and having a party incumbent who thus far has not rejected any of Bush’s main policies, I could use a little hope and change.
I’m too lazy to vote, it won’t make one bit of difference(I live in NJ so the state will go Democrat no matter what). If I do become bothered to go throw my vote away, I’ll throw it to Barr. But right now 9/10 I won’t bother doing it.

Hey I pointed that website out first
Nobody on here is going to read it though. It’s far easier to cling to old views and pandering McCain attack ads than it is to read an 8 page large-type PDF. There is a lot of hope for change in that document. I’ve only about 1/2 done.. but it’s the same old song and dance. pdf viewer is fucked up somehow but i’ll just assume this sucks like i would even if i could open pdfs
I admit John McCain’s policy guidelines on energy appear to be more specific with numbers and timelines etc. but it means very little when they aren’t guarantees. Continue reading…
