I like how they rushed to have this released before the election.
Trust me, they planned for this movie to be released almost two weeks before the election.
How can you have a movie about the Bush presidency when his fucking term isn’t even up yet and LIKELY the most interesting portion of it is happening right now?

Of course 2 weeks before the election is the perfect time to release this movie, but I don’t see how it’s rushed. Oliver Stone has been planing this for years. Why no mention of American Carol, by the way?

I’m pretty sure it’s more about how Bush found himself in the most powerful position on the planet after being a fuckup for so long (62 years and counting).
Because this thread is about "W". Duh.
I mean, do I HAVE to talk about how retarded BOTH of these movies are to be "PC"?
Or can I just talk about the movie at hand?
pwnt
probably because American Carol looks to be unwatchable
Will watch. Looks like it should be entertaining as fuck. Thread backfire, conservative troll.
I tend to be conservative but I do want to watch W. I also want to watch an American Carol just to get both sides of the issue. Same with Religulous, if that’s how it’s spelled. I already saw Miracle at St. Anna, so now it would be good to see the other side as well.
American Carol looks like it will be terrible.
Based on the commercial I saw, W. looks like it could be good. Plus Oliver Stone is usually ftw.

The only thing that kept me from initially watching An American Carol was that it was only like an hour and twenty minutes long. At least that is what I read on Fandango and Movie Fone. I watched Miracle at St. Anna instead because it was 2 hours and 40 minutes long. I was in the mood for something longer.
American Carol is funny as hell, and it makes me happy to know it’s making leftist sack riders cringe.
have you seen it? if its actually funny i’ll watch it
Yes, although it’s silly at some points. It’s the same format as Airplane!. The part where the ACLU zombie lawyers attack the court house is hilarious.
I’m not looking forward to this at all. Maybe it’ll be something new, but as far as I know it’s just another of an endless string of Bush lampoons.
I don’t like the guy, don’t get me wrong, but damn is making fun of him getting old.
FUCKIN THING SUCKS
I bet you nut yourself over Farenheit 911.
I enjoyed it
He started filming with an unfinished script 9 months ago. from what i know of movie making, that is a rush job. But i could be wrong. Anyone in film know how long a film normally takes?
Is it silly?
I think that movie’s a turd. I didn’t see this one, but it looks absolutely horrible. I just used that opportunity to make fun of Bill-O
because it looks corny as fuck. W looks pretty bad too.

Wierd…maybe some sick and twisted scheme to turn an evil profit. But they didnt rush it, i know that
They should of waited until no one would have been interested in seeing it..
