come on bros, we’ve only seen one example thus far. most people already know msnbc is a left wing version of fox. i want examples of cnn bias since we keep lumping them in as liberal mainstream media.

I will readily admit that msnbc has become a left leaning station, but they’re nowhere near as far from the center as FOX. FOX News has become a caricature of itself.

There is no malicious lying on MSNBC. Distortions and a distinct lack of a conservative viewpoint, yes. They do not, however, lie through their teeth like fox news and get legitimate journalists to come on(most of the time).

I can appreciate that Keith Olbermann is incredibly eloquent, and for that reason I enjoy hearing him speak, but he also seems to be an incredible douchebag, so I don’t ever watch him.

I agree with this statement. This, coupled with the diversity of staff, and views, makes it the winning station to watch.
cnn has no left bias. they used to before this election season, now they are so self-conscious about bias that they often afford a ‘balanced perspective’ where it is undeserved. fox is easily biased, msnbc as well - both "report" news daily with a sarcastic demeanor…

I agree that FNC editorials have become rather nonsensical, with the exception of O’Reilly who has actually gotten significantly less bias this election season, but FNC’s news is nowhere near as ridiculous as MSNBC. Hannity is better at putting his views aside than Olbermann.

Final summation: the neoconservatives are better at putting on a straight face when it’s appropriate.

You’re only mentioning their talking heads, though. I think it’s simply the case that right-wing talking heads have run out of ways to spin the Republican party as anything but a clusterfuck. Meanwhile, the left-wing talking heads are having a field day.

If you compare the actual coverage of the two stations, in terms of what stories they select, you’ll see the bias.

Not even I can agree with you there. Fox is pretty wild. But so are the rest of them. Hannity is just getting to the point where hes annoying. You can be deceptive, sly, and cunning and do what he is trying to. Just badgering people makes you look like an ass. O’rly is better at it as are some others. Hannity and Matthews yelling at each other could undo the polarity of the earth

I never said that FNC was unbiased. I said that they’re better at hiding their bias. All of the major news networks are biased. I only watch major networks to make a comparative analysis. I certainly don’t watch them because I think any of them are objective news sources.
